We are an informal group of people interested in learning about all aspects of the history of Strensall, York and the surrounding area.
We hold regular monthly meetings to listen to speakers on wide-ranging subjects, and in Summer there are usually two outings/outside events.
A regular Newsletter keeps members in touch with developments.
New members are always welcome and members can, if they want to, become involved in our archaeological, family history and other projects.
No previous knowledge or skills required!
Meetings are held from September to May in strensall Village Hall
on the last Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m.
Yearly subscription is only £12 per person; Visitors £3 per person per meeting.
(Details of Meetings can be found on our "Programme" page
and are also published in the Parish Magazine "Outreach")
